We expend copious amounts of energy researching our posters. Nevertheless, we’re forced to accept the hard truth: Even we are fallible. That’s why we’ve extended an offer to you, our loyal fans, to spot our oversights — an effort that is not without its own rewards, as we explain on product listing:
Anyone we missed? Tweet it @popchartlab. If we use your suggestion in the next version of this print, we’ll send you a $10 gift card. No joke.
We’ve gotten some pretty stellar suggestions via Twitter and will shortly be culling through them to see what makes the cut for the second iteration of the print. However, in the midst of these recommendations came one email that knocked our socks off, from Pop Chart Lab super star Tom Galloway:
In general, very impressive (hey, I’m a sucker for anything that goes in-depth enough to include members of the Legion of Substitute Heroes). One small goof though; you list Crystal under “Transmute elements”. That’s not quite what she does, certainly not in the same sense as the other three listed. She’s generally described as an "elemental", with powers over the classic Greek four "elements" of air, earth, fire, and water. Honestly, her powers have never really been clearly defined, but she’s been shown to wield “elemental force blasts”, control relatively pure instances of air (i.e. create wind gusts), water, earth, and fire (but not at the point of, say, controlling steel), etc. She may have been shown once or twice "transmuting" air to fire or somesuch, but she’s not generally considered a transmuter, certainly not in the sense of the other three who are all of the “Transmute titanium to oxygen” or “Change aspirin to paper” power group.
